We are a mother/daughter team, born and raised in Key West, Florida.  Mom is Doris Arnold and daughter is Dara Font.  As a team, we have been baking cakes and cookies for many years.

When Dara was in high school as a member of Key West High School Class of 2000 (mom was class of  '71) she was running for a position of the Student Council. We talked about different campaign ideas,  We then decided to bake her campaign “literature” for handouts. We baked rectangle shaped cookies that said “Vote 4 Dara” on each cookie and she handed them out to the KWHS voting students.  While she did not win the election, her cookies were a hit.  We started taking the custom decorated cookies to church functions, family parties, business meetings and any other place there were groups of people. 

After several years of presenting our themed, hand decorated cookies and matching cakes we noticed how well received they always were, and at every function someone always said to us, YOU GUYS SHOULD OPEN A SHOP,    We have listened and we are finally opening a store here in Key West.   We are proud Conchs and the name seemed to fit us perfectly.

I would like to thank you for the Thanksgiving basket of cookies.  What a nice touch using our logo.  Even though the cookies were just too lovely to eat we did, and they tasted as good as they looked.  Everyone truly enjoyed them.
